Very dark brown with lasting head. Lots of malt. This has a fair amount of iodine. Slightly sharp. A little smoky.

Bottle. Brown pour. Aroma of caramelised malt, subtle whisky booze, caramel, dates, raisin and yeast. Taste has raisin, caramelised malt, vanilla, soft whisky, subtle smoke, dates, fruity yeast, licorice and wax notes from the clynelish. Solid, not spectacular, just nice.
