Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2018, Day 1. A black beer with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet strong dark malt, Chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, slightly boozy, fascinating.

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of alcohol, sweetish, hazelnut, nice roast, coffee, lots of burned caramel, some vanilla. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet, caramel, notes, malty, soft roast, lots of chocolate, good! Aftertaste: alcohol, whisky, more alcohol, more caramel, roasted, melons.

Sampled at Ace&Kees! festival. Very dark brown with dark beige head. Bourbon, light nuts, brown sugar, soft milk chocolate, light yeast, dried earthy berries, red wine, fresh oak. Over medium sweet with tannic bitter and light astringent finish. Over medium bodied.

Tan head, gone in seconds, pouring viscously to black motor oil. (Served a tad too warm). Punch of Bourbon, but also burnt rubber, really like something chemically made. Nose can FEEL the heat. Bourbon, vanilla, sweet. Mild burn, touch of stout acidity. Finish is quite raw alcohol. Furious alcoholheat. Very viscous, opulent feel. Aftertaste gives a new wry bitterness - the walnut? Punch-in-the-face (and the wallet). Aphroditè? No - she was more subtle as a godess. 8/4/7/4/14

Sample courtesy of Powy, big thanks. black color, very small coffee colored head. smells strong of bourbon, earthy, licorice, light molasses, nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of bourbon, molasses, earthy, licorice, bit peppery, spices, light dough, light sweetness, some soy sauce, mulberry. finishes lightly sweet with notes of bourbon, molasses and some soy sauce. very nice one, rather heavy on the bourbon (and the soy) thou. overall good stuff. a bit on the sweet side.
