A unique blend that consists only of three year old Lambics from three foeders formerly used for the maturation of Brunello di Montalcino, one of Italy’s best wines. The complexity of the obtained lambics results in a very refined Oude Gueuze.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is funk, wood, some sweetish tart tones with mild red berries to it. Flavour is tart fruits, some sour wood and quite dry as for the plate, but also has some sweetess to it. Wellbalanced and nice.

Small white head over copperish orange, clear beer. Saddlesoap, horseblanket, lemonpeel, mould, wild yeast. Lemon, lemonbalm, incense, horseblanket - all the best characteristics of real gueuze. Finish as dry grains, and smokey-sulphury, especially warming up. (Wheat)slick, very spritzy, refreshing. As a gueuze ought to be. Only, I do not get the Brunello. Thanks to Stef!

Ruikt goed zuur. Perfecte zuurheid in de smaak voor mij. Beetje stoffig. Gewoon echt een prima geuze voor pak hem beet 6 ekkies.

37,5cl bottle (BBF: 15/02/2039, bottled 20 years before) from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent as my beer #6300. F: medium, white, quick diminishing. C: deep gold, hazy. A: light sour fruity, funky, bit woody, sour apples, bit sour plums, touch of red wine, basement. T: medium malty base, sour fruity, bit woody, red wine, grapes, brett, bit puckering, kiwi, very refreshing for the style, quite complex and not so sour, fully enjoyable.

Bottle. Huge thanks Stefan! Hazy golden body, white head. Huge funk, woody-sweetish light berry undertones. Dry, but softly funky-barrely taste, good bitterness, solid tartness, good balance and complexity. Very good!

Clear gold with a rich white head. Petroleum and funk, grapefruit on the nose. Soured light funk with citrus and grape peel. Solid with a clean finish.
