Bottle. Cloudy yellow, white head, some tiny floaties. Initial tart & yeasty aroma, light leather, orangepeel. Medium body, chewy, fine sparkly. Fine orange flavor notes, grapemust, white wine tartness, restrained brett notes, sparkly fruity. Fresh and fun.

Pours slightly hazed yellow. Small to medium, fast fading white head. Scent is sharp, fruity, very balanced, apricot, very gentle complex and refined. Taste is dry, medium carbonation, sharp, not to tanninic, appleskins, milder apricot than the aroma, but still recognizable. Refined, complex, easy drinker. Very dry, sharp, medium thin body (due to the dryness) . perhaps a tad to high carbo for my taste. interesting drink that's very well made.

Bottle. Milky pale yellow, white foam layer. Aroma starts intense sour citric, light funky, grape notes, a hint candy, very fresh. Medium light body, dry, just a hint chalky on the palate. Dry, light barnyard base, hay, leather, citrus, sparkling wine, tart grape notes in the finish, apricot skin retronasal. Vey nice indeed.

330ml bottle sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Pours a misty gold, no head. Aroma of fresh, lightly sherbetty zesty apricot fruit. Fine spritz on the palate. Taste presents an initial sweet fuzzy wild character, delicate fruit profile encompassing apricot, mango, gooseberry, rhubarb, boosted by a wild brett presence. Can't really detect much orange wine influence.. I sense the beer may have been quite adequate without it. Big hitting flavour that seems an antithesis to the berliner character, but nevertheless an interesting sour beer.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, bottled in September 2020. Slightly hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite vinous-fruity aroma of white wine, gooseberry, apricot, lemon and a touch of brett funk. Gently sour, quite vinous-fruity taste of white wine, lemon, gooseberry, apricot, hints of rhubarb and traces of brett funk, followed by a short, gently tart, a little funky finish. Thin to medium body, gently astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Another brilliant grape ale from Flügge, the wine and the apricot match perfectly with the Berliner Weisse, a style I am usually not too fond of. Nice flavours, well-balanced and the brett rounds it up. Good!
