Can at home. Ugly unclear sort dusty fruit juice appearance. Smallwhite head. Smell and taste are malts, mandarins, orangepeel slightly, lightly a bitter hint, a bit sweetish and a bit dusty. Average body and carbonation. Lingering citrus notes. Meh.
355ml can from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours unclear misty gold, thick rocky white head. Aroma is pleasantly fruity, sweet malt, some orange shades. Taste continues along similar lines with an appealing fruity character, malty sweet with nice citric shades, some distant dank stonefruit nods. Nicely presented fruity IPA. Good introduction to this brewery.
For the aromas, rotten fruit dominates along with some resin Hops and wet grain. Flavors are similar to nose, include butterscotch, slightly more bitter than sweet. The rotten fruit and butterscotch really get in the way of everything else. Long bitter finish.
