Pours black, small to no head. Scent is sweet intense caramel, mild bourbon. Taste is full, fairly thick but not to Lervig standards in their crazy stouts. very aromatic. Caramel, with a weird doughy undertone. I get the idea, it's just not for me... Still pretty good, I just expected a lot more at this price point (ca 3x the price of their regular, amazing stouts )

Taster at gfs place courtesy of Sander, big thanks. black color, very small very dark coffee colored head. smells of bourbon, fudgy, maple, cocoa, some vanilla, super chocolate forward. lovely smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes fudgy, some bourbon, light maple, cocoa, bitter chocolate, some sweetness, light vanilla, lactose, cookie dough, gets heavier and heavier when it warms. finishes rather sweet with notes of cookie dough, maple and some brown sugary notes. hmm, liked this a lot straight out the fridge, but gets heavier and heavier when warm. Very nice bourbon notes when cold, but those basically disappear when warm. Super cloying, hard to drink once it warms a bit.

330ml can. Pitch black, tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, cookie dough, caramel. Taste is very barrely, loads of bourbon, oak, vanilla, salted caramel, chocolate, treacle, warming booze. Full bodied, smooth. I enjoyed this but not convinced barrel ageing pastry stouts is good for them, think a non-BA version of this would be better.

0.33 l can from 'Craftbeerrockstars.de', canned in August 2020. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, brown head. Intensely sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of praline, vanilla, bourbon, hazelnut and a touch of coffee. Fairly sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of praline, hazelnut, bourbon, vanilla, some licorice and hints of coffee, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, minimally boozy finish. Full body, smooth, slightly effervescent and almost oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Another massive Stout from Lervig, again quite sweet but this time with more flavours from the barrel. Don't really get the salted caramel or cookie dough but it's a really tasty beer nevertheless.
