Bottle 33cl. from a local AH supermarket @home poured into a pilsner glass. Cleardeep golden colour, tall frothy off-white head, slowly diminishing, thin layer remains, good lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, banana, lemon, bubblegum. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, sourish touch, light banana, lemon, cooked apples, grainy, light spicy notes. Light body, oily texture, soft carbonation, short sweetbitter aftertaste, light sourish notes, cardboard, lemon peel, acceptable.
--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy amber, lively head. Floral hops and aluminium up front. Dry with thin body and sharp mouthfeel. Razorblades with floral grass, notes of marzipan. Metallic finish.
Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of herbs, yeasty notes, malt, light spice, wort and light fruity notes. Flavour is above light sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Interesting and fairly decent for alcohol free.
330ml bottle @ AF beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan '20. Misty gold appearance, rocky white froth atop. Yeasty doughy nose, taste bears good yeasty sweet doughy, bananery even.. Surprisingly flavoursome. A contender for beer of the evening.
27th Jan 2020. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, our first ever 'no alcohol' tasting. 39 different beers, we managed 26 before we bloated ourselves out, this was beer number 7. Large white billowing head on the golden body. Yeasty feel to the whole thing, strange 'grainy' lacing on the glass as the beer level sank.
Not something that I would quickly buy, but at half price I'm OK with trying it. Pours a hazy golden colour and a firm white head with long retention and good lacing. Aroma's: grain, vegetal, fruity, grain. Retronasal it's grainish, fruity sourish, a bit caramel. Flavour is light bitter, grainish, a hint of sour. Light bodied but not thin. Finishes with moderate bitterness and some grainy malt. Not too bad actually, and I wouldn't have guessed this is non alcoholic.
Bottle at Maakun’s. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, spices, gumball. Moderate sweet and quite bitter. Malty smooth with quite some carbonation. Waxy malty like eating a candle nomnomnomnom.
Bottle shared at home. Slight hazy golden with huge fluffy white head. Wort, fish, bitter grassy hops, light yeasty, cloves, allspice, bread, soft sugary, soft flowers and herbs. Medium sweet, over medium bitter. Over light bodied with quite some carbonation. I tdd s not too bad, but the weird fishy notes are offputting.
