Light lager beer brewed by Kompania Piwowarska. This is the third Żubr variety and the first unpasteurized beer in KP's offer. Prażubr Niepasteryzowany appeared on store shelves in April 2016.

Prażubr is an ancient, unpasteurized species. It was created according to a recipe developed at the Dojlidy Brewery, whose traditions date back to 1768. This is a tribute that brewers pay to the ancestor of the Białowieża bison, who reigned in Poland thousands of years ago. Prażubr is a classic, light lager with a moderate hop bitterness flavor. It is gently sparkling and clear.

Not sure how this ended up here. Just your average Eastern European pale lager. Malty, light and sweet. Medium bitterness.

Clear medium golden colour, good frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma malts, grain, hay, paper. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, bit metallic. Sweet and light bitter aftertaste, bit chalky and dusty. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, regular Polish lager.

Can shared at home. Clear light golden with some bubbles but no solid head. Some corn and malts, apricot, light dusty hops with soft chemical finish. It’s decent malty but really lacks in hops. Close to medium sweet with lasting sharp chemical bitterness. Just medium bodied. Not that bad but nothing I’d want to drink again.

50 cl. can @ home, bought @ Julia Poolse Delicatessen, Geldermalsen. Clear golden with a white head. Grainy aroma. Bittersweet taste with a kind of not unpleasant chalky mouthfeel. Solid East European pale lager
