Bottle from Freigeist. Amber color with white head. Aroma of Brett, bayrnard, wine, horseblanket. Taste, wine, grape, wood, horse blanket, wine.
Bottle at tasting. Acidic aroma and taste, wine notes, light to medium sour. Light to medium body, sour acidic finish. Ok.
9/10/11/11/9/9
75cl bottle. Gusher. A hazy orange golden beer with a white head. Aroma of tart grapes, apples and oak. Taste of tart grapes, apples, herbs, wood.
0.75 l bottle from one of the brewers, huge gusher, about half of the bottle gone. Hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, sourish, quite herbal-spicy and gently fruity aroma of figs, rhubarb, quite some rosemary, light grapes and a touch of oak. A little sweet, gently sour, fairly herbal-spicy and slightly fruity taste of oak, grapes, figs, rhubarb, rosemary and a touch of ginger, followed by a medium long, gently tart, rather woody-dry, quite herbal-spicy and even a bit vinous finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Astonishingly refreshing beer, I love how well the rosemary matches with the vinous-woody flavours. Here, the barrel-aging really added something to the base beer. Good!
