Small white rim over greenish tinted pale orange beer. Sharpish fruitnose with ripe peach, nectarine and passion fruit. Sour passion fruit, sour peach, lactic acid. Acidburn and -thinning, sharp, tart, titillating to burning MF. Sharp, but nice!
29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Hazy ochre, quickly thinning, white head. Aroma of plum, apricot, unripe mandarin, peach, passion fruit. Taste has very sour plum, apricot, lemon acid & sweet-sour passion fruit with a funky hint of straw. Very tart, lemony, zesty, passion fruit-like finish. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Very interesting experiment, passion fruit acting well here, both acidic & juicy.
Pours unclear blonde, small to no white head. Smell is full, passion fruit, dry, juicy. Taste is full, tart, intense, passion fruits, acetic acid. Very tart. intense, lovely beer, but just a tad to acetic to me.
29/XI/19 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival 2019, BB: n/a - (2019-1985) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Aroma: very sourish impression, lemony, fruity, some actual passion fruits, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: super acidic, very lemony, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: super sour, vinegar notes, acid burning the throat, not a big fan.
Bottle @ MBCC 2019. Pours lightly hazy golden with a medium white head. Notes of citrus, passionfruit, big lactic profile on this, lemons, classic goaty funk.
