22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 9/21/2017. Pours nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, peanut butter, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, frosting, fudge, brownie batter, brown bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with light notes of molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, peanuts, vanilla, cocoa nibs, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, peanut butter, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, frosting, fudge, brownie batter, brown bread dough/crust, and toasted biscuit; with light notes of molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, peppery, roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, peanut butter, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, frosting, fudge, brownie batter, brown bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, molasses, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, peanuts, vanilla, cocoa nibs, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a solid roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and no cloying sweetness after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.8%. Overall this is an awesome flavored imperial brown ale. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, peanuts, vanilla, cocoa nibs, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Great soft feel. Perfectly balanced between rich brown ale malt complexity, peanuts, vanilla, and cocoa nibs; with just enough earthy hops to balance sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, and highly impressive imperial style example. Tons of authentic PB flavor, and not overwhelming on any aspect. Not overly roasty for the style, held up really well for the age.

Session 2, Copenhagen Beer Festival, draught. Opaque dark amber coloured body. Fragile off-white head. Chocolate and nuts on the nose. Flavour of buttery malts, coffee, and dried fruits towards the ending. Medium bodied. Nice, however, the beer gets a bit too sweet in the long run (02.05.2014).
Sampled @ CBC 2014. Hazy red - brown color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is weird: sweetness and vegetables. Yuk! Taste is just as bad and equally weird: vegetables, herbs, spices. Dreadful.
Draft at CBC 2014. Pours clear brown with a small tan head. Aroma is massive corn with a little toffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
