Slightly hazy orange golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of dry tart red grapes, berries, brett. Taste of dry and sour red grapes, berries, tart and dry, low carbonation.
Angenehmer, deutlich säuerlicher Beginn mit pelzigem Mundgefühl. Johanisbeere, Kirsche, Himbeere, ausbalanciert. Ein leichter Essigtouch ist im Mittelteil vorhanden, das Lambik bleibt rund und fruchtig, die Himbeeren werden stärker. Intensiv, langer saurer Abgang, gut! 8/11/12/13/11/11
0,375l bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. Vintage 2020. BB 08/2030. light redish murky color, small white head. smells of raspberries, acidic, some currant notes, bit jammy, lactic. nice smell. full body, bubbly carbonation. tastes of raspberries, jammy, some currant notes, spices, lactic. finishes rather dry and rather sour with notes of raspberries, currant notes and some lactic notes. not overly complex and also rather on the sour side. rather intense.
Orangey red colour with no head. The fresh tartness of the berries really comes through. Tart and mouth puckering. There is an element of sweet and sour raspberry candy and a little raspberry vinegar too. There's some dry woody elements in the background too. Complex, flavoursome and nicely tart.
Lci. Too sour for my taste buds (and teeth)... It seems that these days every raspberry lambic/geuze has this "too sour" issue in contrast to other fruit lambics/geuzes.
37,5cl bottle (vintage 2020) from Prik & Tik Dranken Marlou as my beer #6900, Belgium beer #2850 and brewery #1462. F: medium, pink, quick gone. C: ruby red, hazy. A: a lot of raspberries, sour fruity, red fruits, woody, bit lactic, gooseberries, chlorine, funky. T: medium malty base, raspberries, red currants, old lemon, woody, bit puckering, lactic, bit mineral, funky, very dry and of course quite sour, soft carbonation, very nice for the style, fully enjoyed.
Pours bright, fairly clear red. No head or sign of carbonation. scent is sharp, full on fruity, acidic bite by the red berries. Taste is very sharp, drying, acidic , very funky, woody, intense. raspberry is very mild. Very fruitforward, making it a less complex drink, but not less enjoyable. Mild woody / earthy touch by the red berries.
Vaarikane, hapu, mahlane, tanniinine, happeline, punanesõstar, hea mahl. 4.1
16/V/21 - 37.5cl bottle, shared @ De Cam brewery, BB: L2030.8 (2021-411) Thanks to Erwin & Meeki for sharing today’s beers!
Clear deep ruby red to bright cherry red beer, small creamy light pink head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, sugary impression, cherry touch, raspberry jam, sour notes, funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit meaty, pretty acidic, berries, very dry, red currants, bit metallic, dry, some raspberry jam. Aftertaste: acidic, dry, bit juicy, very nice red currants, lovely stuff!
C: Almost no head, B.C.”H.”; totally veiled, deep cardinal-red beer.
N: “Putteke” , (red) fruity esters galore, sulphur, horsemanure.
T: Sour, sulphury, red fruit, horseblanket. Something of ether, at the same time perfumey – no doubt the raspberries. Fruitacids.
MF: Acidthinning, acidburn, lipsmacking acidity, refreshing, light.
O: Very good one! The sulphur is rather imposing.
