Draught Small if lacey off-white head over reddish dark brown beer. Chocolate with (too) sweet additions, sweet spices and lactose, chcocolatebar. Sweet, vanillated, sweet-spiced stout with mild roast, lots of sweet malts, acquiring a taste as if a puffed rice candi maple chocolate bar is melted and served in a young oak mug. Quite well bodied, obviously, alcoholheat, obviously, and TOO SWEET. Obviously.
On tap at Beerlovers Bar Antwerpen. A almost black beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense sweet dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Taste of sweet chocolate malt, vanilla, bourbon, wood, lactose, quite nice.
Pours very dark brown to black, small to no head. Scent is awesome syrupy chocolate mild maple, traces of oak. Superb balance, as is to be expected. Taste is full, intense on the body, chocolate, maple, oak. Milder yet very recognizable high quality whisky. Extremely nice beer for sure. A balance little can handle as well as odd side ales.
Can, at share, courtesy of Ryan. Pours black. Earthy, coffee, maple, sweet booze, vanilla, little harsh booze, savory salty bacon. Medium body. Decent.
Crowler from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head. Big woody, oak-focused nose with bourbon, pepper and faint maple syrup notes on the nose. Maple syrup, whiskey and coffee on the palate. Some light smoke, but quite faint. Lingering rye whiskey peppery notes, warming alcohol, maple syrup and oak. Thinner on the body side, but the flavors are nice.
