440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Brown to dark amber colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of smoked malts, smoked meat and juniper twigs. Slightly warming mouthfeel. The flavour has quite a bit of malty sweetness, notes of caramel, oak, aquavit, dark dried fruits, smoked malts and juniper. Enjoyable.

Mørk amber. Mokkafarget filmskum. Behagelig røykaroma. Smaken trær & røyk. Spor av lakris. Balansert. Lett tørr avslutning. Godt røykøl.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A covering beige head to a clear reddish-brown body, spotty lacing. Caramel aromas with smoked malts and wood, promising. Well blended taste of smoked malts, not overdone, dried fruits, wood, and caramel. A welcome touch of juniper to the ending with lingering notes of smoke. Well bodied. Likable sipper on a quiet Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø 13.03.2021).
