Finally, FINALLY! Huge thanks SinH4 for sharing this 2019 bottle with me! Lovely red-amber body, shiny, no head. Huge aroma, sweet, full honey, a fair bit of alcohol, but well integrated. Raspberries? Hmm, sure, there is a fruitiness, candied, liqueurish. And oh my... fantastic smooth honey profile, caramelly, lightly woody, with just the teeniest bit of raspberry candy or dried fruit, especially by the finish just so smooth, so well balanced. Never feels cloying, despite that's the fun part, the fruitiness seems to have provided some vague, well, wouldn't say tartness really, but it is in a way. A masterpiece, a world classic, a mead that's more than worthy of its hype. Poland can and should be proud of the hype.
Bottle at home, dark red, ruby red colour, no head. Aroma is sweet, honey, fruit alcohol, Taste is the same, sweet, very sweet, cough syrup, sticky, alcohol, very nice. dangerous

Bottle (thanks kuba). Pours reddish amber. Aroma is booze, vinous, oak, berries. Flavor is sweet and sour, fruit wine, berries, raspberries, honey, sugar. Finish is sweet, sour, and bitter with lingering honey and booze. Overall: very good stuff, although drinkability is limited because of the massive sweetness.

Bottle. Put forest honey. Throughout. Aroma, taste, palate. Honey, honey, honey. Boozy and sweet and heavy and intense, but who cares, because: This shit? It works. Period. (Forest and pine needle and resin aroma too, but it doesn’t really matter, believe me.)
Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark reddish color with no head. Aroma is intense flowery honey, sweet fruit liqueur, booze. Taste is sweet honey, flowery, one of the most sweet drinks I?ve ever had, but it?s so luscious. No carbonation, very viscous mouthfeel. A beauty.
Sampled at THT August. Clear reddish amber. Big sweet honey, bit metallic, but damn this sweetness. Biggest sweetest I might have ever tasted. Rooibos. Light bitter. Full body, big sugary body. Mega sweet but lovely vanilla soft finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Półtorak Jadwiga on 18 Dec 2017 at 16:27 - Score: 8. Original review text: 4.1
