Pours unclear, dark hazy amberblonde. Medium sized white head fades fast. Scent is mildly pine, mild fruityness. Taste is full, juicy feeling, but not as fruit forward as most IPA's today. Very balanced ( more so than the base version ) and a nice maltprofile that shines trough. Less pine than expected, and far more creamy body, too. Bitterness is present, but very soft. Surprisingly easy to drink, hiding the alcohol very, very well. Only noticable due to it's intensity in general. Very well balanced double IPA and so much better than the other IPA's I had by 3 sons.
