375ml bottle from The Oak Cask. Vintage 2019, 11%. Clear orangey gold colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of apple pie, floral fruity, caramel, toffee. Taste is sweet, tangy, apple, apple pie, caramel, musty, dried fruits, with some orchardy notes and tannin. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering sweet & drying finish. Nicely sippable.
2019 version is 11% ABV. Copper. Apples: blossoms, reduced, caramelized, even fresh and somewhat acidic. A hint of furniture polish. Linen fresh off the line. Very sweet at first but acidity reels it in a fair bit. This is maybe 14C and maybe a tad cooler might work better. But lovely.
pours a clear darker amber. Scent is pure applesauce. medium high intensity. Taste is intense, sticky, sweet, full on applesauce. Very nice alcohol warmth. nutty. Awesome.

37,5cl bottle (12%) as vintage 2017 from the cidery (visited 9. 5. 2019), shared with my wife. F: no real, some bubbles. C: deep gold to amber, clear. A: a lot of apples, bit caramel, vinous, red apples peels, honey. T: rich apples juice, bit apple sourness, puckering touch, honey, bit more on the sweet side as I expected but quite nice, enjoyed.
2016 bottle. Clear deep ruby color with no head. Aroma is gummi bears, red apples. Taste is concentrated red apples, gummibears. Thick oily mouthfeel, flat. Almost Canadian - very sweet and rich, delicious as hell, with just a touch of acidity, and quite clean. Hardly any tannins there compared to the 6% version.
