Bottle shared at the Chania New Year’s Whale Share, 2022. Black with minimal brown head. Aroma of big bourbon, oak, chocolate, vanilla and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with a thick texture, alcohol warmth and soft carbonation. Along with 2018 the best of the day!
On tap at Other Half. Pours black. Chocolate, chocolate milk, bourbon, roast, light smoke, vanilla, bourbon soaked cherries, brandy, fig, burnt sugar. Thick oily body. Insane.
Taster today. Bottle is waiting in the cellar.
Pours black, very small tanned head. Scent is intense, chocolate, refined BA profile. Medium alcohol heath. Taste is full, intense, bourbon (medium heath) some oak, bit umami. Chocolaty. Fine, balanced yet very intense.
Jet brown black with a small dark brown head. Lots of wood and dark chocolate notes. Sticky, boozy woody notes with lots Oder molasses and chocolate. Viscous.
Bottle. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong bourbon, roast, oak, licorice, chicory, vanilla. Slick body, roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, licorice, nice bourbon in the finish, really enjoyed this.
