We are thankful Weathered Souls Brewing for initiating this incredible worldwide collaboration. This is so important to everyone at Perennial, and we are excited to share our version of BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL.
Black is Beautiful is a blend of 20% Barrel Aged Stout, and 80% fresh Imperial Stout. Comprised of a couple 23mo Knob Creek Single Barrel Series and a couple 19mo Rittenhouse Rye barrels, and blended with our base stout. Rich molasses, marshmallow, and slight barrel heat are all rounded out by fresh roasty base stout. 12.5%

Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Jet brown with small dark brown head. Cocoa and some light barrel notes. Dark chocolate and some nice sweetness. Thick and rich with a long chocolate coffee finish.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast, wood, rye, bourbon, cocoa. Slick body, roasted malt, wood, chocolate, boozy finish, dry, very good.
