A more refreshing version of our white cedar lagered black IPA.
Expect more hops, more subtle cedar notes and a slightly lower abv.

This black IPA has been lagered on white cedar cubes. Together with the raosted malts and an overload of dry hop, this beer features a complex and unique aroma and flavor profile.

Clear dark brown beer, creamy dense beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very intense, pretty malty, grains, gentle roast, some dark coffee, alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, good roast, coffee, wood notes, very bitter, more roast, sourish touch. Aftertaste: more roast, alcohol, malty, soapy, a bit soapy, bitter, spicy, a bit sweet, some caramel, more soapy notes.

Prefer the winter edition... Summer edition more hop forward, but lacks hop punch due to the strong taste of the roasted malts. Little bit too carbonated. Tasty beer overall.

Pours black, big creamy, very stable head. Scent is intense roasty, creamy, dank hops, grassy bitterness. Taste is full, roasty, ashy, intense. Hops already faded ( compared to less than a month ago ) , making more room for the ashy parts to rise. Still, very well balanced and enjoyable BIPA. winter remains the favorite though.
