This stout was designed to host and highlight the intense flavors derived from fermenting with maple syrup.
After aging in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-maple syrup, and ex-vanilla barrels, the beer was finished through a bed of walnuts and, naturally, more maple syrup for a total usage of 2,200lbs. No half-measures of innovation will do!

Bottle shared at tasting. Opaque dark brown to black color, small light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, brown candy sugar, maple very prominent. Similar flavor. Not bad.
