50cl can. A hazy golden beer with a big off-white head. Aroma of apricot, mild resinous hops, pine, wheat malt. Taste of apricot, mild sticky sweet wheat malt, pine, resins. Long bitter finish.
Can from Deconinck. Hazy ochre, thin, white head. Aroma of orange juice, mango, lychee, nectarine, vague sweat, honey. Taste has sweetish mango, lychee & papaya over doughy malts, bit spicy-yeasty, citrus accent. Floral hoppy finish, lingering ripe tropical fruits and bitter (blood) orange. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. DIPA with a twist somewhat, nice.
Drukket på Lillehøgda. Ferskenfarget. Uklar. Lavt tett skum som daler sakte. Klementinaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Balansert. Mere klementin i avslutninga. Kanskje et snev av ananas.
Pours hazy yellow, medium creamy white head. Scent is creamy, bit dank, lemongrass. Taste is fairly sharp, lemongrass, bit dank. grassy touch, medium bitterness (more than you'd expect in the average 2021 IPA) decent, but not loving it.
Draught Very good dense & fine head over fully hazy orange beer. Orangepeel, bit mouldy even; bit of human sweat and cheesy hops. Dry spices, decaying flowers. Kveik here apparent. Again the spices and the orangepeel in the taste. Not much more, though warming up pineapple flavour coming up. Medium bodied, quite slick; medium to good carbonation. OK. I suppose the Kveik had the task to make it different somehow, but as to that...
200ml draught at Brygg. Cloudy golden body, spotty lacing, filmy layer. Fresh smell of pineapple. Succulent fruity flavours, including pineapple, orange, and mango. Ends with satisfying fruity bitterness. Well bodied. Likable. (Oslo 03.07.2021).
