440ml can. Poured almost black, with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt and chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a rich, oily, hazelnut, chocolate, liqourice, coffee, vanilla, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Superb.
440ml can. Pitch black with a ridiculously big tan head. Aroma of chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla. Taste is sweet, rich, chocolatey, vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, all the advertised flavours are there in full effect. Full bodied, fairly thick, smooth, creamy. Delightful, slight improvement over the first edition.
Can from Beers@Moviefun. Cloudy black, small, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of vanilla bean, hazelnut paste, cacao powder, brownie dough, toasted almond, meringue, dark fudge. Taste has sweet fig & prune in a very thick chocolate & fudge malt body with a deeply nutty layer, powdery effect, bit umami-earthy even. Earthy hoppy finish, thoroughly roasted & toasted: nuts, coffee & dark chocolate, yet some creamy vanilla too, and warming whisky-like alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Perfect blend of all the ingredients, a delight!

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is full, roasty hazelnut. Intense, smooth.... Amazing. Taste is full, hazelnut, mild 'chloride' ( small off note ), though it fades away quickly. Roasty, nutty, chocolate (mild) , vanilla is hidden. Fairly thick, medium low carbo. Very mild bitterness.
