440ml can between four at the Quarry Tasting on 17th July 2022, cheers whoever brought this one. Very dark brown, opaque; beige head. Vanilla front, some sweet heat and a mini coffee like twist.

Can. Black. Massive Tonka, nice chilli, vanilla, dark chocolate, alcohol, soft smoke. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied. Noice.

Black with a tan head. Aroma of coconut, fruity chilli, chocolate, tonka and vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with chilli warmth groning in the finish and soft carbonation.

440ml can. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of tonka, chilli, maple. Taste is predominantly tonka, nice spicy chilli kick giving some heat, dark chocolate and vanilla base, maple not too strong but giving a nice syrupy sweetness, bit of a boozy finish. Full bodied, smooth. Great.
Eindelijk weer een echt goeie. Pepertje komt goed door.

44cl Blik van De Laat. Zwarte kleur, flinke beige-bruine kraag. Volzoet, tonka en vanille duidelijk in de geur, gebrande mout, wat stroop, in de smaak is duidelijk maar ingehouden de chili aanwezig, chocolade, bitterzoete finish. Volle body, glad, romig, lichte peper-warmte. Heerlijk.

Pours black, smell is cinnamon, trough the tonka . Taste is full, intense roast. Chocolate. mild maple. Noticable pepper heath. Very decent. Tonka doesn't overpower. Vanilla is hidden. Would have enjoyed more maple myself, but I'm happy with the result regardless, as a person that doesn't love tonka . this beer does have balance.

Pitch black pour with a tall tan head with pretty good retention. Smoke, ash, roasted malt, hot peppers, vanilla, maple syrup, ash. Intense, roasty and spicy. Quite enjoyable.
