Pivo is the Czech name for beer – and when it comes to Czech beer you think of lager, Pilsner style lager to be exact.

Well, meet Beavo… our take on this most iconic of beer styles.

It came from an infatuation and obsession with creating an easy drinking super premium lager inspired by German and Czech pilsners. Perfected over 2 years of trials under the PilsNERD Moniker, Beavo is a light, crisp, smashable, sessionable beer packed with lightly kilned pilsner malt, bright and floral noble German hops and fermented with a traditional German lager yeast. No bony phoney baloney, just Dead. Good. Lager.

Malt: Pilsner, Carapils
Yeast: Lager Yeast
Hops: Magnum, Mittelfruh, Tettnang, Saphir

6th Sep 2019, keg half-pint in Bittles Bar, Belfast. Clear and clean golden body, fast fading white crown on top. Light malty aroma, the taste also grainy with a good hop bitterness coming through also. A decent Lager/Pilsener.

Tap. Clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is earthy, beautiful Mittelfrüh or Saaz flavours, nice old school hops. Taste is earthy hops, citrusy, leafy, beautifully dry body, very balanced. Oily mouthfeel, slightly fizzy carbonation. Very good Pilsner!
