From lambic info : "Cantillon Cuvée des Champions is a two year old lambic that is dry-hopped with Styrian Golding hops and bottled with a small amount of liquor to begin refermentation in the bottle. It was bottled yearly between 2004 and 2010 in 75cl bottles, but has been available in 37.5cl on at least one occasion in 2009 and on tap in various locations. It is the predecessor to the current-market beer Cuvée Saint Gilloise."

Bottle. Thanks to Seth for sharing this one. Yellow pour with a white head. Funk and lemon zest bouquet. Loads of funk, muted lemon zest, and barrel highlights. Wet hay and straw backbeats. Good body and mouthfeel.

Draught Head gone in second; veiled orange beer. Spicy-lactic-oranges, farmyard. Oranges returning in the flavour, lactic acid, citrus, farmyard; hints at fruitsugars, if faraway thumbprint. Feels somewhat better bodied, low carbonation - almost still. Strange, after the Parasol, yet another Cantillon tasting of oranges and lots of citrus flavours, as if the beers had been... 'contaminated'?
