Bottle picked up at Supermarket Liquor in Foco. Pours a clear dark brown appearance with a thin, light brown head. In the aroma, there’s a lot of coffee, light roast, cocoa, and a bit of toffee. Medium full body. A little nutty. Light cola. Hint of graininess. Flavor is mostly chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Not too sweet. Medium light bitterness. Maybe a little herbal. Drinks pretty damn good.
Not a home run, but a god solid swing for the fence. Cola colored body, with small beige head, leaves streaky lacing. Light dark malt aroma leads to a pretty robust taste, mildly sweet, malty and dry. Finish lingers for a while, pleasant aftertaste. Nice job.
