Draught(Bayrischer Anstich)@Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm. Bayrischer Anstich. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is herbal, some wooden, nutty and sweet maltiness. Flavour is sweet malts, mild floral, herbal, wooden and toasted notes. Lovely taste.
Sampled as Knoblauch Schammelsdorfer Lagerbier Ungespundet Draught Very creamy, dense, stable, cream-coloured head over cold hazed golden beer. Fresh yeast notes, bit sulphury, as an open fermenting vessel. Notes of fruity esters (pear, banana, quince,...) and fresh white bread. Very good bitterness, herb . Malt underneath, not much sweetness, but lots of bready notes. Yeast, but nowhere an underfermented hint. Some banana notes left, and any sweetness is biscuity. Yeastslick, good carbonation, light to medium bodied. A necessary drink to reappraise how beer really ought to taste. Down with all vanilla, tonka, crème brulée and other marshmallow stouts!

Large glass draft @ Ma Che Siete Venuti A FÃ . Clear golden, amazing lace. Nose is flower frain, white bread, summery & faintest of funk. Taste is super thick, floral, white bread, flowers, juicy, faint floral, stupidly drinkable, awesome.
Tap at Zlý Časy. Golden body leaning slightly towards amber with a lasting white head. Bready maltiness dominates the aroma, full, simple, effective. The taste is similarly under its sway, with some mild flowery and herbal notes being added along with a teeny tiny bitterness. A good lager by all means, but didn't thrill me as much as I hoped it would.
On tap at Ma Che Siete. Clear light amber colour, creamy off-white head. Aroma of crisp malts, light toffee, soft grassy notes, minerals. Flavour is soft, light sweet, some toffee, malty, just light bready, grass, light floral, firm bitterness. Light bodied, smooth. Really subtle and tasty.
Tap into Steinkrug. Aroma is earthy malts, juicy hops, orange peel. Taste is oranges, juicy malts, earthy-rustic, mineralic finish. Silky mouthfeel with low carbonation. Super tasty, but not world class - at least not today.
