Noire totale, huile de moteur laissant un filament marqué doré au verre, col fin café au lait.
Arôme est bien malté, café, caramel, fruits noirs, chocolaté avec un effet de winter warmer - bouquet léger de cuire, feuille de tabac séchée qui se font plus présents après une bonne décantation.
Palais est complexe, bien malté avec une bonne profondeur sur le caramel, toffee, fruits noirs avec un côté boozy des 15% qui se révèlent plutôt facile à boire. Le tout passe sur un caractère quasi barleywine avec une petite pointe d'oxydation. Palais présente une petite touche pétillante avec un fini épais et collant aux lèvres - presque avec une impression de Olorosso. Effervescence reste faiblarde.

Pours black, no head. Scent is roasty, bourbon, full, syrupy. Taste is full, roasty, sweetn bourbon, oak, intense sweetness, yet very smooth. Mild vanilla. Lovely stout.

Loads of bourbon barrel. BW influence tasteable. Not BBT level but awesome.

Bottle. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong toffee, wood, dates, fig, vanilla, cocoa, rye, licorice. Slick body, bourbon, raisin, dark chocolate, rye, fig, vanilla, toffee, nice sweetness, loving these hybrids!
