12 February 2022. At Winter Belgian Beer Geek Gathering. Many thanks for hosting, Tim, and cheers to the whole crew!
Clear golden, thin, off-white head. Aroma of sourdough, gooseberry, kiwi, citrus flesh, wet straw, green apple. Taste has sour kiwi, gooseberry, plum, apple and some lemon acid in a bready, sourdough-malty profile. 'Old' grassy hoppy finish with funky straw, tart fruit and woody tannins. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Enjoyable and quenching.
Pours clear blonde, small white head. Scent is fine, woody funk, wild yeast. Some apple-like fruityness. Taste is very refined. Clean acidity, mildly funky (wild yeast) some wood. Simple maltbase, but works very well. Always fun to drink , though I enjoyed it more before. Perhaps due to this one being (at the end of) a big tasting ? Still very good though !

75cl bottle @ Brewver Winter Gathering '22, thanks Erwin. no BB. Bottled 06/2021.
Hapu, kuiv, herbaalne veits, nisune, funky, puuviljane. Hea, libiseb hästi.
A very dull pale golden color. Musty, tart nose with lots of barnyard and cobweb notes. Faint hints of honey, cherries, nail polish, and peaches permeate. Excellent nose. Low carbonation, tart, a odd bitterness that seems to envelope your tongue. Nice depth and I caught a bit more lemon character on the palate that I didnt get in the nose. Great depth and the odd bitterness add a dimension, but not sure that was needed. Still fantastic beer.
An amazing saison-ish. Funk, minerals, oak and a hint of tartness.
