440ml can from the brewery. Poured a murky golden orange colour with a thin white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is lemon citrus, light coffee. The flavour is over moderate sour, with a fresh, crisp, acidic, big tart lemon citrus, light earthy coffee palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A very tasty lemon gose, but I don’t think the coffee, as light as it is, adds anything to the beer, in fact quite the opposite.
Can shared. Hazy dull golden with white head. Lemon, wheat, salt, popcorn, soft cofffee, salt, seaweed. Medium sour and salty, light sweet. Light bodied. Not horrible, but I don't really get the point.
Keg at the Grantham Beer Festival - Land Of Hop And Glory. Haze brownish golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are dominated by the sharpe lemon then slight tangy lemon. This contrasts with the bitter coffee. Like chewing on a coffee body. A real beer of two clashing halves.
Draught, 100ml, sample tray at Taphouse. Dark golden body, hazy. Covering white head, spotty lacing. Lemon and lemony peels on the nose. Flavoured with ripe lemon and a little lime added by hints of coffee grounds. Short, semi-dry, coffee-fruity ending. Interesting and pretty fair. (Copenhagen 21.10.2021)
440ml can. Cloudy pale orange, small loose white head. Aroma of coffee, lemon zest, lacto. Taste of coffee, sharp zesty lemon, sour, gentle salinity. Not sure a Gose is the best style for showcasing coffee but this does somehow work - not great - but well enough.
