Brewed at/by: Weissbräu Schwendl (Schalchner)
Brown Ale - American Regular
Score
6.84
ABV: 5.8% IBU: - Ticks: 15

Geschmack:fruchtig, hopfig, karamellig, herb

330 ml bottle. Pours cloudy medium brown with decent head. Cocoa, passion fruit, grapes, apricot, tobacco. Hoppy bitterness and some sweetness. Fruity-malty. Flat carbonated, medium bodied. Bitter finish, long-lasting aftertaste. Very interesting beer, but quite difficult to rate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33 l bottle from ’BierPost.com’, best before October 2016. Clear, dark brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, a bit roasty, moderately hoppy-fruity aroma of nuts, some chocolate, tropical fruits and some pine. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty, quite hoppy-fruity and a bit resiny taste of caramel, nuts, some chocolate, tropical fruits and some pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly resiny and a bit dry finish. Medium body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Bottle. Clear golden-red chestnut, off-white foam. Fresh and perfumed hoppy nose with roast aromatics in the background. Chewy, full-bodied roasted and bready malt base, agressively but fittingly hopped - grassy, aromatic, flowery, great balance. Sparkly on the palate - moreish. Best brown ale in quite a while!
