Canned (from K-Market Kapteeninkatu, Vaasa). Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some oaty and mild nectary tones. Flavour is slight hopburn with some nectar, fruits, oats, quite sweet malts and some floral tones.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Cloudy straw colour, rich coarse head. Fruity nose with some papaya. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with oatmeal porridge and syrup, some grass and mango. Low biterness.

Can, thank Dave! Grapes, tropical, coconut lemongrass aroma. Light grey pale yellow. Medium body, mellow, citrus, gooseberry, lychee. Fresh, no onion, very nice.

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of berries, citrus fruits. Taste is sweet, berries, juicy citrus and tropical fruits, a touch of pine. Medium bodied.

Pours very hazed blonde, nearly no head. Scent is creamy, full, mild tropical. Taste is full, creamy, hoppowdery. Surprisingly less awesome than what I came to expect from Arpus. 7.4/10

Edit : resampled another keg, 3 weeks later roughly. The beer really settled down, improving quite a lot. No more hoppowdery aspects, more outspoken malts (doughy) yet the hoparomas are right where they should be in terms of intensity. Would have scored it a 7.9/10 on this occasion.

merging to a 7.7 - which isn't possible, so making it 7.8 as I feel this was sampled in a better surounding.

13/XI/21 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 2 (Waagnatie, Antwerp), BB: n/a (2021-1387) Thanks to the Brewver crew and other beer buddies for sharing today’s beers!

Cloudy pale yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: nice, lots of tropical fruits, juicy, pineapple, mango, good stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soft bitterness, sweet, fruity, some citrus, pineapple, mango, some passion fruits, little sourish. Aftertaste: very fruity, juicy, sweet and sugary, oranges, decent but not as great as some other Arpus DDH’s.
