Before being outcast by the Shogun, Nefarious Ninja No.9 was the greatest Samurai in the empire. Now tortured on the path of revenge he has become a dark and complex soul with the depth of Hades itself. Brewed with multiple roasted grains and molasses this is no stealthy ninja stout. This is an assertive double espresso assassin!

440ml can. Pours black with a big beige head. Aroma of molasses, chocolate, roast malt. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, liquorice, extremely bitter, decent flavours let down by a very acrid and almost astringent finish.

Tap at the VAT and Fiddle, Nottingham. Poured almost black, with a mostly lasting frothy, off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and liqourice. The flavour is big liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, smoky, liqourice, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A real Foreign Extra Stout.
