Dark cream head, retreating over jet-black beer. Dirty socks, coffee, gingerbread, liquorice, tobacco. Sweet (as in too...), tobacco; finish is thankfully a bit drier. Chocolate, Pumpernickel, dark green leaves. Full bodied, alcoholheat; bit sticky feel, good carbonation. Just a bit less sweet, Kees, please? Than it would be really great, and more of a Baltic Porter, instead of a contemporary strong dark syrup. Txs to Stef!
Black with quick fading head. Aroma of booze soaked prunes. Flavour has initial sweet dried fruits. There's a light bitter element of roasted malts but also bittersweet caramel
Can at Ambasada, huge thanks Iznogud! Very dark brown body, off-white head, going away fast. Nutty aroma, oily dark malts, alcohol. Coffee, dry, smokey taste chocolate, almond notes, lean, lightly alcoholic. Quite tasty!
Lci. Hmmm... Dit was niet zo lekker... Ongebalanceerde zoete meuk.
44cl can (25 IBU) from Etre Gourmet web shop. F: huge, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: roasted malts, cacao, bit caramel, coffee touch, dark dried fruits, toffee, spicy touch. T: full malty base, dark chocolate, cocoa, dark dried fruits, decent bitterness but more from roasted malts than from hops as there is only 25 IBU, toffee, bit vinous, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, bit nutty, very good balanced beer, fully enjoyed.
44cl can. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma strong dark malt, melasse, chocolate. Taste of sweet and strong dark malt, coffee, melasse, raisins.
Süß malziger Antrunk, ausgewogen. Süffig, das Aroma bleibt konstant, dadurch auch kantenlos. Weich, leider nie röstig, auf Dauer monoton. Nett, aber ein kleines Glas reicht. 10/10/8/7/7/8
