11/V/21 - 1Pt. can @ home (Ghent), BB: VI/19/19 (2021-381) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the can!
Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy dense beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of vanilla, bourbon, dark chocolate, mocha, caramel. Very intense, very nice! MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast up front, lots and lots of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, bitter touch, mocha. Aftertaste: some alcohol, lots of roasted flavours, more bourbon, caramel, more chocolate, slightly sourish, darkly burned caramel. Very nice one, especially for only 6.5% abv!

16 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 6/28/2019. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-1 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted marshmallow, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, coconut, oak, nuts, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of bourbon, smoke, char, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, cocoa, marshmallows, and moderate barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted marshmallow, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, coconut, oak, nuts, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of bourbon, smoke, char, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy hop, roast/char bitterness, and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted marshmallow, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, cream, coconut, oak, nuts, dark/brown bread, light smoke/char/herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, cocoa, marshmallows, and moderate barrel flavors; with a nice roasted bitter/sweet balance, and no cloying/acrid flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky/chalky/tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. overall this is a fantastic flavored milk stout! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, cocoa, marshmallows, and moderate barrel flavors; extremely smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. The bourbon isn't huge, but the vanilla/toffee/coconut barrel notes are all there. Perfectly balanced rich malts, cocoa, lactose, and marshmallow flavorings. Tastes like s'mores as a beer perfectly. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
