Felis is one of those breweries I enjoy more than my ratings suggest. The basebeer, the quality, the personality behind the beers ,... Everything is usually great, accept for 1 ingredient she adds that's just simply... not my taste. We seem to have very different preferences there ! Which is why 'm more than happy this beer came about. On one hand, I've been asking the question for years - why does no-one make a 'real' gose, rather than all those extra hop, extra fruit, or imperial versions? on the other hand, this is the first Felis beer without any 'negative' ingredients to me.
The beer pours a slightly hazed blonde, with an aroma of crisp maltyness, tad spiced (coriander). Very typical Göse Taste is full, very salty, very nice maltyness. Bit overpowering towards the spices. Full , malty finish. Lovelt beer, as hoped (and, if i'm being honest, expected) Perhaps technically a tad to salty styletechnically, but who cares when the beer is actually nice to drink ?
