First time I had this was probably 1983, back then it was already brewed at Dommelsch, and I guess most of it still is. Pours a clear yellow golden colour and a nice white head with good retention. Aroma's: grainsih, fruity, yeasty, sweetish. Flavour is light sweet, light fruity. Light bodied. Nothing extraordinary, but nice enough in hot weather like today.
Clear deep golden colour, tall stable frothy white head, very good lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, bread, hay. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain, hops. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, clean sweetbitter aftertaste, husky notes, clean, crisp, well-balanced pilsner, really nice.
33cl can. A clear yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, straw. Taste of grainy malt, straw, spicy hops. Nothing special.
Hints of hops and hay in the aroma. Neutral taste with apple and orange. Slight hoppy aftertaste. No outspoken pilsener taste, but well made and pleasant.
Sampled from 0.33 l can from 'AH' (Sleeuwijk), best before November 2018. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-spicy and a little watery taste of grains and some straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
Can, as Traditioneel Natuurzuiver Bier.Gold with a white head. Grainy aroma with spices and some cardboard. But it's clean enough with slightly grainy malt and a decent bitter finish. Pleasant enough.
