Bottled (2010 vintage) at PBF. Cloudy golden, rich firm head. Plenty of pineapple and coriander up front. Mid sweet with near full body and soft mouthfeel. Laid back, despite relatively intense flavours of marzipan, tangerine and coriander. Long bitter finish. Combines new world flavours with old world feeling for details and depth. A winner!

Bouteille 750ml. Mini gushing. Carbonation faible, corps dense. Excellente.

Arrived in a large 750ml wine-like bottle that I wonder if I can homebrew with. Will the caps fit? One may find out in the months to come! Pours with colossally large head, really way too big and too feisty even by Belgian standards. Off that huge head, however, comes a gueuze-like Belgian blonde aroma that I have so much missed living here in the arctic with just Molson macros (mostly) to choose from. Hints of hops and caramel, dry wit citrus on the back end. Very refreshing, I could just sit here and smell this all day long, it reminds me I need to get to Brussels and its farmlands with the wild yeasts again sometime in the coming years; but anyways. The flavour is a smooth mix of hops and sugar with hints of fruits like banana in there, soft sweet caramel hints, you know they’re sweetening it up but in such a way that it’s not overbearing and still quite delicious. Nice mouthfeel and an okay finish. This is easily the best Belgian-style blonde I’ve had from the new world, and am glad I air-freighted a pile of them up here. The problem is, I just know they’ll disappear too quickly.....

Bottle @ home, courtesy of pushkinwow. Huge thanks! A touch hazy, golden appearance with a huge, carbonated, a touch off white head. Citrusy, Belgian yeasty, really nice citrusy bready, somewhat spicy aroma. Spicy, very tasty wheat malty, orange citrusy, slightly grassy, spicy yeasty, moderate barnyard, bready, tangy flavor. Excellent beer! Glad to have tried this!

2009 bottle thanks to Savvy1982! Pours a very lively hazy gold with a tall white head, lots of lacing. Strong floral citrus nose with lots of yeast aroma and elements of grassy malts. Flavor is rich with light malt and grassy flavors lots of citrus in the backend with some yeast esters and a slight alcohol burn. This is a top notch beer.
