Bottle @ Moeder Lambic Original as Lambic Jaune 2014. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aromas of nutty sweet vin jaune, lightly oxidized vinous note, citrus, caramel, light funk, dark fruits, stonefruits. Taste has a very nutty flavour upfront followed by vanilla, dark fruits, caramel, citrus, stonefruits and oak. Finish is lingering and develops on the tongue for quite a while. Holy SHIT this is insane. Possibly the best beer I've ever had. Not a single thing I would change.
Draft @ BxlBeerFest 2019, day 2.
Edwin Z. is drinking a Lambic Vin Jaune / La Vie es Belge by Brasserie Cantillon at BXLBeerFest Straw-ish, hay, velvet, some sweet notes, flat, nice but had some off-flavors. Still nice
Clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma shows of the Vin Juane beautifully with wonderful oxidized cherry notes, toffee and oak along with a lovely dry funk, cobwebs and vinous notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and sour, much more sweetness than I'd expect in a geuze, but balancing perfectly in this one. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Stunning and absolutely worth the wait!
750 ml bottle at Moeder Lambic Original, during Zwanze 2018 weekend. Hazy orange color with white head. Malty and yeasty aroma, nutty, toasted bread, vinous, tart fruity, citrus and stone fruits, grapes, wood, funk barnyard. Sweet and acidic taste like aroma but even more intense. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
Unclear golden. Funk, white wine barrels, nuts. Medium, quite acidic but not too much. Low wine flavours, but still a good balance. A tad too acidic. Very good.
Had this twice, one from the barrel and once from the bottle. Hazy yellow color. Aroma has lots of funk, distant sweaty animals. Taste is funky with light tannins light spice and dust. Very tasty
Bottle! Hazy golden color with white head Aroma is nutty cheese, super comté funk, hay, walnuts. Taste is cheesy, nutty, lemony, hay, full on schabziger. Very nutty comté aftertaste. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation, albeit not very complex. Amazing creation, how can a beer taste so much like comté?

25/XI/17 - sample @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli (Brussels) - BB: n/a (2017-1966) thanks to Kraddel, 77ships and other Antwerp and international tickers for sharing today's beers!
Pretty clear deep blond beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty funky, wood notes, regular brett and lambic smell. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity, bitter touch, funky, bit metallic. Aftertaste: fruity, some grapefruit, soft bitterness, dry finish.
Bottle - Jean opened for us and the original vintage. Aparantly not lambic but a standard wort aged in the wine barrels. Grapes are much clearer in this beer even with the age. Sweet and white grape shine, even though I found the spirit quite harsh, this was pleasant.
