Golden colour with thin head. It's sharp but not so much as others from Tilquin. Subtle funk at first but it intensifies further down the bottle. The grapes are noticeable, subtle grape sweetness. Full mouthfeel. Excellently balanced.

20/21 I think, shared with Dimi, Hrabren and Ogi, but not Iznogud - hah. Murky dark amber body, tiny off white head. Citric, funky aroma, light white grapes, damn fresh-smelling, lovely. Citric and white grape notes in the lovely, lean taste, light funk, far less visible than in the Riesling we'd had before. Extremely balanced, just lovely stuff!

Bottle pour at St Gambrinus. Pours peachy orange. White grape, funk, apricot, delicate herbal, tart, oak, pear. Medium body. Clean fruit notes and bright funky acidity. Good.

Bottle. Short lasting head. Peppery and the grapes come out nicely. Some bitter tannins. Quite nice!

This was way too sour when I tried this “fresh” so have been keeping off from buying future vintages. This, at this stage, is however damn good. Lots of white grapes, gueuze funk and very balanced acidity. I guess I need to get more Tilquin to age again.

Fairly hazy golden orange with a short lived white head. Aroma is vinous, oak, tart green grapes, green apple and light funk. Flavour is moderate to heavy sour. Medium bodied with some sour burn in the finish and light carbonation. Doesn’t seem as refined and balanced as the first batch, maybe could do with some more time on it.
