0,75l shared at Sanders birthday, big thanks. Almost black, small coffee colored. Smells marzipan, nutty, vanilla, Bourbon. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes of Bourbon, vanilla, marzipan, nutty, spices, light dried fruits. Finishes light to medium sweet with notes of Bourbon, dried fruits and vanilla notes. Very nice one, very smooth 7,4,8,3,17

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Oak, vanilla, bourbon and a hint of licorice in the aroma and flavor. Sweet, very well matured, velvety. A huge surprise.

Bottle. Slight hazy redbrown color, medium frothy head. Aroma has quite some oak wood, cookie and slight vanilla from bourbon. Also a bit of booze. Some spice, caramel and chocolate underneath from the base beer, which is pushed away somewhat by the bourbon, even though the bourbon is not completely overwhelming and still relatively subtle. Sweetness in taste, both from sugary base beer as vanilla and cookie sweetness from the bourbon. Quite some salty licorice and other spices from base beer work together with the dry oak wood as well. In the finish a bit more booze and alcohol, but not disturbing. Has got some complexity, balance is quite good as well. Very enjoyable.

Bottle @ tasting shared by TomHendriksen. Very nice dark amber to purple color, small beige head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, bourbon, sweetish and light vanilla. Taste malts, vanilla, bourbon, sweetish. Well balanced, I must admit, well done. Nice!
