Folkingebrew in Groningen, Groningen, Netherlands 🇳🇱

IPA - Imperial New England / Hazy Regular
Score

ABV: 8.0% IBU: - Ticks: 3
This beer marks the 25th chapter of our story. Since it is our 25th release we almost immediately thought to do a 'classic' hop combination for New England style IPAs.

That's why this New England Style DIPA (8%) is generously double dry hopped with two of our favorite hazy style hops: Galaxy and Mosaic. This duo complements each other well as some of the more tropical, punchy hops available. For smoothness and haziness we use a good dose of oats and wheat. London Fog contributes to the velvety mouthfeel and supports the hops beautifully with its ester profile. Expect aromas and flavors of citrus, peach, mango and passion fruit in your glass!

23/4/22: More lovely Folkinge hops, using one of my favourite aroma hops. Loads of funky pineapple, sweet mango and other assorted tropical fruits. Very soft, very flavourful. Nothing unique, but just very well done. Looking forward to opening my can.

17/5/22: Hazy yellow, soft white head. Smells fruity, citrus, lightly tart, some tropics. Soft body, light chalkyness, fairly thick. Taste is sweet at first, with a light bitter linger. Pineapple, citrus, pine, mango, stone fruit. Lovely. Go Folkinge.
