In late summer 2021, we made a macerated wine from biodynamically cultivated Riesling
grapes that we picked at Weingut Melsheimer (Mullay-Hofberg). After primary fermentation,
we added the wine to two barrels of beer we brewed 9 months earlier. At bottling those two
barrels were blended with one barrel of cider we made from apple and quince.

18/VI/22 - 75cl bottle @ De La Sambre Saison Festival, BB: n/a (2022-757) Thanks for sharing!

Clear blond cider, no head. Aroma: lots of apples, apple juice, fruity, pleasant! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of apples, dry, pretty sourish, some tannins, bitter. Aftertaste: dry, spicy, herbal, meh, not as good as I had hoped from the smell.

0,15l from bottle at Arrogant Sour Festival 2022. Bottle. Yellow cloudy color, small white head. Smells flowery, parfumy, earthy, herbal, some grapes, stone fruits. Very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes of stone fruits, grassy, citric, earthy, bit herbal, spices, lightly sugary. Finishes lightly sour and lightly bitter with notes of citrus, stone fruits and some earthy notes. Very nice one, lovely balance. The grapes are subtle, not overshadowing the beer. Lovely
