Pours intense, dark red. Scent is intense on the cherry. Bourbon isn't to recognizable. Taste is full, tart cherry, complex and fine acidity. Marzepin, bourbon very hidden yet noticeable. Very nice cherry beer, but I expected more bourbon.

Bottle pour. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 13/05/2022 [#4.909 Global - #160 Belgium - #8 Bofkont] Pours red with a small and dissapearing pinkish head. Aroma: red berries, oak barrels and yeast. Taste: berries, jam, oak barrels and tart. Perfect acidity. Balanced. Smooth. Next one please!
Delicious, but a hint young still
Pink-purple small and disappearing head over cardinal red to purple, almost black beer. Dry vinous, tannine-rich red wine nose, enhanced by partly woody, partly boozy, partly chocolate whiffs. A very, very light hint at pine/chlorine. Sour, lactic, fruitacids but always a deep, rich background flavour from the Bourbon. Red fruit, sour cherries. Pretty sharp, acidburn, acidthinning. Long lasting cherry flavour. Surprise: very little Bourbon and no vanilla whatsoever in the taste. The Bourbon only confers depth and complexity to the beer. Which is not necessarily an evil!
