A beer to celebrate seeing some friends again. Seems more boozy and bourbon heavy than the 2018, but still with those buckets of raspberries and chocolate. Sweet, rich, smooth and soft, with loads of flavour. Absolutely outstanding once again.
Pours black, no real head. Smell is full, sharp, roasty, hints of red fruit. Taste is full, sharp, raspberry, very chocolaty; nice, not amazing tho .
Backlog. MBCC 2018. Pours reddish black with a small brown head. Aromas of jam, vanilla, dark chocolate, cocoa. Taste has raspberries, vanilla, fudge, dark chocolate, light roast.
Clearly quite a bit older. Raspberry softened a huge amount, still there but not as fresh and juicy as a fresh one. Smooth layers of fruityness, chocolate, bourbon and boozyness intermix. Lovely brew, both fresh and aged. But I do prefer it more jammy ;)
Smooth dark chocolate, balanced, great Bourbon flavor, raspberries, sweet, some red fruits, lovely stout, nice enjoyable sipper...
How: Draught.
Where: MBCC 2019.
Appearance: Black colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, raspberries, fruit, bourbon, chocolate.
Body: Full body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Raspberries, roasted malt, chocolate, bourbon, some coffee and alcohol.
Tap at MBCC. Pours black. Aroma and flavor are really sweet, sugar and adjuncts overload, roast, chocolate, bourbon maybe. Overall: this is almost omnipollo silly.
