Bottle, thanks a lot Fin. Red amber, golden foam, certainly more a Bock than Heller Bock. Juicy malt, sweet honey, melanoidin, roast notes. Medium full, light sticky mouthfeel. Roast and honey aftertaste. Overall a bit too sweet even for me.

50cl Fles van Café Brecht. Koper-amber kleur, licht-beige kraag. Licht gebrande mout, toast, caramel, licht fruitig, hint van alcohol, niet te zoet, smaakvolle en niet-zo-standaard Maibock. Medium body.

Swing top bottle. Amber color. Malt and a hint of pineapple in the aroma. Malt flavor with traces of tropical fruit and grass. medium to full bodied. Pleasant enough, but lacks character.

Bottle [from trade with beerhunter111] @ home. Clear amber color, full sized quite thick white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Malts, brown sugary and caramel malty aroma. Taste malts, caramel, lightly sweet-bitter. Decent to medium body, quite soft carbonation. Quite nice.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Mild smooth beginning. Grain, slightly sweetish with a nice smooth "heller Bock" aroma. Round with not much bitterness, grain, moderate sweetish and highly drinkable. Nice.

Smoothest of the maibocks I’ve tried this year.Medium amber color with oil slick beige head.Malty aroma and taste with a little hops kick. Forgive the cheesy label, this one’s worth seeking out...
