Corked bottle. One year old, but still a great black IPA that has kept well. Reddish brown color. Roast and berries in the aroma. Firm roasty grassy hopbitter flavor with red and black berries. Hint of Tobacco.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, large sample. Slight hazy brown color, medium frothy brown head. Aroma of roast, coffee, slight bretty funky notes, bit earthy hops. Soft bitter taste, slight lactic sourness, bit bubblegummy sweetness. Drank it too old to get any notes of hoppiness, but it was more of a mild stout/porter with a soft bretty note to it. Nice drink.

Bottle 750ml. corked @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Oersoep Bessie (Donker en Diep) ].Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, leather, light to moderate hoppy, licorice. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, licorice hops, leather, dry, roasted, hoppy, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

Bottle shared with Joes, Martinus, Ansjelaah and Dutchdrebus. Opaque dark brown color, rough, full sized off-white head that lasts for a pretty long while. Quite nice aroma of fruits, a slight sourish touch, some hops. Taste lightly malts, a slight sourness hint, nicely bitter, some fruityness. Decent body especially for only 4.5% ABV, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ home thx to martinus. Opaque brown colour with a medium to full off-white head. Smells hoppy, fresh, slightly fruity. Tastes very watery, bitter, slightly roasty. Thin body, soft to medium carbo.
