Tap @ d’n Drul. Blonde, hazy. Peach and some grassy hops in the aroma. Pineapple and peach, citrus and grassy hops in the flavor. Lots of carbon. Slightly alcoholic even. Sweetish with dominating fruit.

Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Hazy, golden yellow with a large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-grassy, a bit yeasty-spicy and even minimally funky aroma of citrus, banana, vanilla and some clove. Sweetish, slightly bitter, a little sourish, moderately fruity-grassy and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of citrus, vanilla, banana and clove, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter, dry slightly yeasty-spicy, a bit sourish finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Simple, but well-balanced and refreshing, perhaps due to a light infection?!

Rerate: as I visited last week and had a fresh bottle at home, I had to retry. Batch 15003, BB 09/2016, but with new label, so almost certainly fresher. Hazy golden color, medium rocky head. Aroma is spicy, some orange, still has some nutty and cardamom notes. Soft bitterness, bit flowery, bit sweetness, spicy. No sourness or mashed apple at all. Just a decent belgian blonde. Upgrading to 3.5 Bottle @ Benzai’s crazy carnaval, small sample. BB 16/08/2017. Cloudy yellow color, short white head. Spicy aroma, nutty, caramel, cardamom, wheat. Also a bit mashed apples. Bit sour apple. 1.9

Bottle @ Don’t want anything to do with carnaval tasting. Gusher! Clear pale golden color, huge foamy white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, yeasty, herbal and spicy, citrus peel, lightly nutty and a bit sourish. Not very good.
