Batch 19 Small head, reduced in seconds to white rim over hazy orange beer. Interesting nose of saddle soap and lactic acid; faint (unripe) exotic fruit, hints of yoghurt. Lactic acid, opening up with fruit and vegetables, peach liqueur. Preserved fruit as sucade, with just a hint at ginger, pineapple. Despite the jumble, very balanced impression. Light body, there is acidthinning but almost no acidburn. The alcohol - 9%ABV anyway - remains totally hidden. Dry aftertaste. Good! Maybe not as deep complex as a lambic, but the balance in flavours in remarkable.
